Job Description:
About the Role:

The Maintenance Mechanic position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving production equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations. This role supports production by minimizing downtime, following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and adhering to all safety and quality standards. You will be performing the following tasks, including but not limited to:
  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on all types of production equipment.
  • Operate power tools and basic shop machinery to complete repairs, modifications, and equipment improvements.
  • Always Follow and comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPS).
  • Proactively collaborate with managers and team members to identify, assess, and resolve mechanical and equipment issues.
  • Follow all company safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrate flexibility by working overtime, weekends, or varied schedules as needed.
  • Previous experience working in the food industry is highly desirable.
Important Details:
  • This is a full-time permanent role on second shift
    , Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays. Overtime may be available, depending on the needs of the business. The anticipated starting wage rate for this position is $26.55 - $31.55.
You'll fit right in if you have:
  • 2 years of hands-on manufacturing or industrial maintenance experience (required).
  • Ability to use basic measuring tools and read technical drawings and manuals.
  • Experience safely using hand and shop tools and assembling/disassembling mechanical components.
  • Familiarity with the metric system, SOPs, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
  • Machine shop or welding experience (preferred).
  • Basic electrical knowledge, including the use of multimeters and troubleshooting (a plus).
  • Technical college degree or certificate (preferred).
