Inspection Supervisor; Level 3

Description

We are Lockheed Martin. This position will work in Quality Control in Marietta, GA, to support all aspects of the C-130J build cycle including assembly, structural repairs on sub or major assemblies, and functional checks.

The selected candidate must be able to work with minimal supervision in an environment of multiple responsibilities and manage priorities. Responsibilities include oversight of product and process verification, procedural compliance, FOD prevention, and driving discipline and accountability within the build and verification processes as it relates to product quality; executing the development, training, and coaching of employees, setting goals, completing performance evaluations, and providing constructive feedback.

The candidate must interface with functional and program areas within LM Aero to assure compliance and continuous improvement, including Quality Engineers, MRB Engineering, Production Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Planning, Production Control, Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and other team members.

• Demonstrated leadership experience or training including team/relationship building, facilitation, change management and interpersonal skills.
• Technical experience or training on complex military programs and products.
• Experience with the application of industry quality system standards.
• Verbal and written communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and PowerPoint.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• Quality Control experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of Auto Time, SFM, Apriso.
• Prior leadership experience.
• Experience working on C-130 or other military aircraft.
