• Lead daily manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, and customer requirements are met.
• Directly manage production leadership (e.g., Production Managers, Supervisors) and provide coaching, development, and performance management.
• Partner with the Plant Manager to execute site operating plans, production schedules, and labor plans.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, material utilization, and cost reduction.
• Ensure compliance with all Health, Safety, Environmental, and security policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and HSE to improve reliability, throughput, and process stability.
• Monitor and analyze manufacturing KPIs; develop corrective actions to address performance gaps.
• Support labor relations activities, including working in both union and non‑union environments as applicable.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and promote a positive, accountable site culture.
• Other duties as assigned and directed.

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent relevant experience.
• 7+ years of manufacturing experience in a lead position.
• Experience leading production teams in an industrial environment.
• Experience working in ERP‑driven operations.
• Experience leading in unionized manufacturing environments.

• Metals, coating or roll forming experience.
• Demonstrated success leading continuous improvement initiatives.
• Experience working with continuous lines.

• Strong manufacturing and operational leadership capability.
• Proven ability to drive safe, stable, and efficient operations.
• Continuous improvement mindset (Lean, Six Sigma, or similar).
• Ability to analyze performance data and translate into action.
• Effective communication across all organizational levels.
• Strong people leadership, coaching, and accountability skills.
• Solid business and financial acumen at a site level.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear; frequently required to walk; occasionally required to stand, sit, bend, stoop, use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance. The employee will be required to be capable of lifting a minimum weight of 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities include close‑up and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
