Maintenance Technician / Mechanic
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose equipment problems, and complete appropriate repairs in a timely manner.
- Conduct preventive maintenance (PMs) on all operating equipment, including production packaging, materials transfer facilities, and powered equipment (scissor lift, company vehicles), in accordance with maintenance task requirements.
- Perform minor design and operation of new or used equipment for operations improvement projects.
- Maintain accurate maintenance work records using the computer maintenance management system.
- Handle chemical waste treatment and disposal.
- Perform duties specified by the Supervisor/Manager.
- Forklift certification.
- High School Diploma (G.E.D.) may include specialized vocational courses.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-driven, motivated individual who can work with limited supervision.
- Perform duties with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy.
- Ability to read, write, and comprehend business documents such as operational manuals and work orders.
- 2-3 years of maintenance experience in production, manufacturing, PLCs, robotics or other manufacturing-related experience.
- 2nd shift position.
