Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose equipment problems, and complete appropriate repairs in a timely manner.
• Conduct preventive maintenance (PMs) on all operating equipment, including production packaging, materials transfer facilities, and powered equipment (scissor lift, company vehicles), in accordance with maintenance task requirements.
• Perform minor design and operation of new or used equipment for operations improvement projects.
• Maintain accurate maintenance work records using the computer maintenance management system.
• Handle chemical waste treatment and disposal.
• Perform duties specified by the Supervisor/Manager.

• Forklift certification.
• High School Diploma (G.E.D.) may include specialized vocational courses.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-driven, motivated individual who can work with limited supervision.
• Perform duties with a high degree of efficiency and accuracy.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend business documents such as operational manuals and work orders.
• 2-3 years of maintenance experience in production, manufacturing, PLCs, robotics or other manufacturing-related experience.
• 2nd shift position.
