Flexographic Press Operator 1st Shift or 2nd Shift

About the Role

We are seeking a talented Press Operator for the Labeling and Coding Business Unit, working on the 1st or 2nd shift in Marietta, GA. In this role, you will operate flexographic prints presses, dryers, die cutters, and finishing machines; set up jobs; manage waste; maintain equipment; and record production data.

• Operate blank and multi-color flexographic printing presses, paper die cutter, finishing slitter rewinders, and table tops.
• Remove and dispose of waste rolls from the press.
• Change out master rolls of paper to the press.
• Remove finished rolls of products from the press.
• Clean out ink pans after job completion.
• Accurately set up and tear down production jobs based on job specification packets.
• Record all job run times and footage information on daily log sheet.
• Convert master rolls of stock into small rolls on slitter rewinders and table top finishing machines.
• Package finished goods into boxes, label and seal neatly and cleanly.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Previous flexographic printing experience.
• Technical aptitude and experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to assist teammates as needed.
• Ability to maintain a clean and safe work area.
