Position: Production Operator / Material Handler - 4/10 Non-rotating shift in Marietta

Job Description

Wetz Warehousing LLC () is a leading provider of 3rd party logistics, advanced distribution, and value-add industrial services in the Marietta, OH area. We are looking for top notch talent to join our team.

About the Role

As a Production Operator in the manufacturing industry, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of production lines within a Tolling industry environment. Your primary focus will be to maintain high standards of quality and safety while operating and monitoring production equipment in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards. You will be responsible for performing quality checks and process control to guarantee that products meet stringent specifications.

This role requires working in different settings including production areas and warehouses, where adherence to hygiene and safety protocols is paramount. Ultimately, your efforts will contribute to the seamless production flow, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products to customers.
This position will train on 1st shift and then transition a newly created 10-hour off shift once trained.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Proven experience working in a manufacturing or tolling industry production environment.
  • Certification or demonstrated ability to safely operate a forklift and other equipment.
  • Basic computer and systems knowledge relevant to production equipment operation and monitoring.
  • Understanding of ISO 9001:2015 quality management standards.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and carrying heavy weights safely.
  • Possess a positive work history.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience working in a tolling process environment.
  • Formal training or certification in process control or quality assurance.
  • Experience with tolling process techniques.
  • Knowledge of tolling operation safety standards and regulations.

    Additional forklift operation certifications or advanced equipment handling skills.
  • Knowledge of GMP standards.
Responsibilities
  • Operate and monitor production lines safely and efficiently in accordance with established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Perform regular quality checks and process control activities to maintain product standards and compliance with ISO 9001:2015.
  • Safely operate forklifts and handle lifting and carrying of heavy materials as required within the production environment.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the production area, including medical grade production protocols where applicable.
  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to identify and resolve production issues, ensuring continuous improvement and adherence to safety regulations.

The required skills such as computer and systems knowledge enable you to effectively operate and monitor production equipment, ensuring smooth workflow and timely identification of issues. Quick learning is essential to adapt to new processes, equipment, and safety protocols in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Safely operating a forklift and handling heavy materials are daily tasks that require attention to safety and precision to prevent accidents and maintain productivity.

Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 and process control ensures that you consistently maintain quality standards and comply with regulatory requirements. skills like experience in clean environments and medical grade product safety enhance your ability to work in specialized environments, contributing to overall product quality and safety.

4/10 schedule, 10-hour shifts, non-rotating for a compressed workweek. Once fully trained on 1st shift, the new hire will then transition to either the 2nd or 3rd shift.
