Assembly Worker Structures - A&P - C130 (Hourly, Full-Time)

• Perform minor reforming of parts to correct contour, crimping, trimming, and filing parts to fit.
• Frame, skin, rivet, and attach fittings and installations to obtain finished assembly.
• Drill and ream to specified tolerances, and mill rivets as required.
• Install incidental plumbing, electrical rigging, or other functional items as required by practical assembly sequence.
• Install typical items such as braces, brackets, platenuts, and clips for fastening, hanging, or supporting installations.
• Disassemble and/or reassemble structures and installations, returning units to their original position or preserving established positions.
• Fabricate structural items such as clips, angles, gussets, and patches.

• Two years of aircraft sheet metal assembly (riveted structure and installation of functional and/or electrical components) experience or equivalent training.
• Ability to drill and rivet thin sheet metal and to read and use aircraft detail and assembly blueprints.
• US citizenship required; position requires special facility access.

• Aerospace and defense structural assembly experience.
• Basic to advanced blueprint reading.
• Use of drill blocks.
• Drill holes through thick materials.

4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week; shift: first.

Onsite, full-time at a Lockheed Martin facility requiring special access. No clearance level required.
