Are you a master of your tradecraft who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment? Do you want to build everything from architectural post-and-panel signs to massive landmark pylons?

We are seeking a Metal Sign Fabricator to join our client's elite production team. If you have 5+ years of experience, a sharp eye for detail, and a passion for bringing complex, custom designs to life, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do
  • Fabricate:
    Build high-quality metal signs, structures, and custom plastic components.
  • Electrify:
    Install, wire, and troubleshoot advanced lighting systems (LED, Neon, Fluorescent).
  • Analyze:
    Read complex shop drawings, blueprints, and execute material takeoffs.
  • Collaborate & Lead:
    Work alongside designers and project managers to engineer complex builds, while mentoring apprentice-level fabricators.
What We Are Looking For
  • Experience:

    5+ years in metal sign manufacturing (Journeyman level or Certified Welder preferred).
  • Technical Expertise:
    Strong welding proficiency and deep knowledge of UL/NEC code compliance.
  • Physical Capability:
    Ability to handle a rigorous shop environment and lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Drive: A self-motivated, organized professional who commands high standards of quality and safety.

Salary: $56,160 - $64,480 per year

Responsibilities Technical & Fabrication Skills
  • Metal Sign Making: 5+ years of specialized industry experience.
  • Welding: Knowledge of various welding techniques (Certified Welder is a plus).
  • Electrical & Wiring: Proficiency in industry-standard wiring and lighting components (LED, Neon, Fluorescent, HID).
  • Compliance & Code: strong understanding of UL and NEC code requirements.
  • Blueprint Reading: Ability to interpret and work directly from shop drawings and construction blueprints.
  • Material Estimating: Ability to perform material take-offs for procurement.
  • Complementary Trades: Experience with plastic fabrication, channel letter fabrication, and woodworking/carpentry (appreciated).
Soft Skills & Collaboration
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to brainstorm construction and installation techniques with designers, project managers, and field technicians.
  • Leadership & Mentorship: Ability to take direction from team leaders while also leading and teaching the tradecraft to others.
  • Communication: Fluent in English (written and verbal) to read work orders and collaborate with the team.
  • Work Style: Self-motivated, dependable, highly organized, and quality-focused with a strong attention to detail.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to perform heavy manual labor and lift up to 75 lbs.
  • Fast-Paced Adaptability: Comfortable working in a deadline-oriented, fast-paced shop environment.
  • Shop Maintenance: Ability to maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment
The essential functions of this role include:
