* You will be the Components Engineer for the Advanced Data Governance Team which is responsible for
** What You Will Be Doing*
* As the Components Engineer you will be responsible for driving the digital transformation of standard parts data, processes, and models while ensuring data quality, security, and compliance
Your responsibilities will include:
+ Support Aeronautics digital transformation efforts related to standard parts data, processes, and models
+ Maintain high‑quality data standards, security protocols, and compliance with industry regulations
+ Develop and maintain technical documentation of data systems and architectures
+ Coordinate cross‑functional activities with Design Process Integration and CAD/CAM teams
+ Champion data governance practices to improve data integrity and accessibility

* Basic Qualifications:
*
* Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Aeronautical Engineering
Experience with Product Lifecyle Management PLM systems or similar software
Experience with CATIA, Solid Works, or other CAD applications
Proficient with Microsoft Office

Skills:

* Experience with Xcelerator and/or 3DX
Experience with Agile project development e g Jira
Experience with data governance
Experience Python programming language
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility
** Work Schedules:
** Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits
** Schedule for this Position:
** 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
