Job Description & How to Apply Below

Stop Doing Boring Mass-Production. Start Building Custom Metal Work!

Are you tired of standing in front of a machine pushing the same green button on a 10,000-piece run?

We are currently recruiting a skilled CNC Machinist for a top-tier custom metal fabrication shop in Marietta. This company specializes in high-end architectural signage, custom dimensional branding, and structural metal art. Every job that hits your machine is unique, keeping your day fast-paced and your skills sharp.

What You’ll Be Doing
  • Set Up & Machine:
Operate flatbed CNC routers, fiber lasers, or plasma tables to cut non-ferrous and ferrous metals (aluminum, brass, stainless, and mild steel).
  • Vector & CAM Prep:
Import DXF, AI, and EPS files into CAM software (VCarve, EnRoute, Fusion 360, etc.) to set toolpaths, establish feeds/speeds, and maximize sheet nesting.
  • Material Fixturing:
Utilize vacuum systems, mechanical clamps, and custom work-holding methods to prevent chatter on thin sheet goods.
  • Quality Inspection:
Verify tight tolerances using calipers and shop prints, followed by deburring and prepping parts for paint, powder coat, or assembly.
What Makes You a Great Fit?
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience running CNC cutting machinery in a sign, sheet metal, or custom manufacturing environment.
  • strong understanding of CAM software, G-code, and feed/speed selection for cutting aluminum and brass.
  • Ability to read scale shop drawings and vector file structures.
  • A keen eye for quality—catching file discrepancies or material defects before running a cut.
What’s in It for You?
  • Competitive Compensation:
Top-market hourly rates based on your experience level.
  • Comprehensive Benefits:
Health, Dental, Vision, 401(k) matching, and generous Paid Time Off.
  • Direct-Hire Security:
Jump straight onto our client's permanent payroll with long-term stability.
  • Modern Work Environment:
Work in a clean, well-lit, fully equipped shop with high-performing machinery and a great team atmosphere.
