Industrial Engineer Senior
- Level 3

You will be the Industrial Engineer Senior
- Level 3 for the Production Operations team which is responsible for supporting the Marietta Fabrication department and driving analytical improvements. The individual will help the Production Operations team manage production activities using a variety of industrial engineering and EVMS approaches. They will work closely with Industrial Engineering, Production Management, and a variety of Production support functions. This role will work to meet production plans and schedules, create and monitor production health metrics, and maintain work/time standards.

As the Industrial Engineer Senior
- Level 3 you will be responsible for optimizing production processes through analytics, metric monitoring, and cross-functional collaboration. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Enhance production activities by implementing analytical techniques and utilizing various data and data-visualization tools.
  • Improve, automate, and sustain industrial engineering processes.
  • Monitor production health metrics, ensuring timely identification of potential issues and areas for improvement.
  • Develop shop schedules and demand profiles to ensure optimal product flow and throughput.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of solutions into the production environment.

Further Information About This Opportunity:

  • MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN
    - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
  • This position is in Marietta, GA.
  • Analyzes and designs sequence of operations and work flow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts; and establishes methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.
  • May establish or assist in establishing accident prevention measures and may manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations.
  • Conducts studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control, and production record systems.
  • On the basis of these studies, develops and implements plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operating methods.
  • May assist facilities engineers in the planning and design of facilities.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in Industrial Engineering (or a related discipline) and 3 years of professional experience as an Industrial Engineer or in support of a manufacturing facility.
  • Experience in Microsoft Excel including advanced formulas and Pivot Tables.
