Job Summary:The Brand Identity Manager is responsible for stewarding and refining the Wellstar brand across all channels,ensuring a consistent voice, visual identity, and audience experience. Reporting to the Director, Creative
Strategy, this role leads the development and governance of brand standards for messaging, storytelling,content, and creative execution.
The ideal candidate is an experienced content leader or integrated marketing professional with exceptional writing, editorial, and communication skills. This individual will shape how Wellstar communicates with patients, consumers, team members, providers, and community stakeholders by developing compelling brand narratives and ensuring consistency across various media and print outputs.
Core Responsibilities andEssential Functions:
Brand Identity Strategy and Stewardship
Lead the development, evolution, and governance of Wellstar’s brand identity system, including tone and voice, visual frameworks, templates, and asset libraries. Ensure the brand remains distinctive, contemporary, and aligned with organizational strategy
Brand Standards Management and Compliance
Establish, maintain, and enforce enterprise-wide brand guidelines across all marketing, digital, communications, and operational channels. Review materials and provide direction to ensure consistency and adherence to standards
Creative Consultation and Cross-Functional Partnership
Partner with marketing, communications, digital, service line, and operational leaders to translate business objectives into cohesive visual solutions. Serve as the organization’s primary advisor onbrand standards and visual identity matters
Brand Systems, Tools, and Asset Management
Develop and manage brand toolkits, templates, digital asset libraries, and design resources to enable efficient and scalable execution across the system. Identify opportunities to improve processes and
workflows
Education, Training, and Governance
Create training programs, documentation, and communication plans that educate internal teams, agencies, and vendors on Wellstar's visual identity standards and governance processes
Industry Trends and Continuous Improvement
Monitor industry trends, emerging technologies, healthcare branding best practices, and competitive activity to recommend enhancements to Wellstar's visual identity system
Performs other duties as assigned
Complies with all Wellstar Health System policies, standards of work, and code of conduct.
- Bachelors Advertising or Bachelors Art or Bachelors Design or Bachelors Business Administration/Management or Bachelors Marketing or Bachelors Other / Related Field
- 5 years additional - Additional years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of minimum education requirement.
All certifications are required upon hire unless otherwise stated.
Additional License(s) and Certification(s):Certification or advanced training in Adobe Creative Cloud applications (particularly Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and Adobe Experience Manager or related digital asset management platforms) preferred.
Experience or certification in design systems, user experience (UX), or digital accessibility standards preferred.
Accreditation or membership in professional organizations such as the American Institute of Graphic Arts (AIGA), the American Marketing Association (AMA), or the Society for Experiential Graphic Design (SEGD) preferred. Upon Hire Preferred

Minimum 6 years Six-Ten years of progressively responsible experience in graphic design, brand management, creative services, or visual communications Required and
