Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Critical Care - Nights - Marietta, GA

Position Overview

Wellstar Medical Group is hiring a full‑time Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a night shift at its Critical Care team. The role works on a 7‑days‑on/7‑days‑off schedule from 8PM to 6AM and includes a float component across Cobb, Douglas, Kennestone, and Paulding Medical Centers, with night assignments based on patient acuity and census needs. The candidate will primarily be scheduled at Cobb or Kennestone.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments for critical‑care patients.
• Document histories, physical examinations, and prepare daily progress notes.
• Complete discharge summaries and maintain accurate medical records.
• Interpret diagnostic imaging and develop patient care plans.
• Write orders and perform procedures, including central and arterial line placement.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure understanding and support.

• Current certification as an Acute Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
