Qualifications &
Experience:
- Current and valid RN license
- Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in Medical-Surgical nursing
- Active BLS certification (additional certifications a plus)
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to different hospital cultures and workflows
- Excellent organizational and documentation abilities
- Deliver high-quality, compassionate medical-surgical care to diverse patient populations
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, multidisciplinary teams, and support staff
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with policies and protocols
- Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes with accuracy and timeliness
- Educate patients and families on care plans and provide encouragement throughout recovery
- Participate in continuous quality improvement activities
