OverviewThe RN Clinical Nurse plays a key role in coordinating, documenting, and promoting safe, quality patient care. Responsibilities include delivering culturally competent care, partnering with patients and families, and participating in performance improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities- Exemplary Practice and Outcomes
Performs the nursing process using evidence‑based practice, provides relationship‑based patient‑centered care, partners with patients and families, and practices current clinical standards. - Teamwork and Collaboration
Coordinates and documents safe, quality patient care, demonstrates team collaboration, and supports performance improvement and shared governance. - Professional Development and Initiative
Completes all required competency assessments, serves as a preceptor or mentor, and models professional nursing practice. - Evidence Based Practice and Research
Promotes evidence‑based practice, participates in research and data collection, and upholds health system policies and standards such as TJC Patient Safety Goals. - Resources and Support
Plans patient care across the continuum, participates in protocol development, and supports efficient use of human and material resources. - Performs other duties as assigned.

- Required Minimum Education
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing or graduate of an accredited/approved school of nursing (Required)
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (Preferred)
- Required Minimum Experience
- Less than 1 year completion of an accredited/approved school of nursing with required clinical hours (Required)
- Direct patient care experience (Preferred)

- Registered Nurse (Single State) (Required)
- RN – Multi‑state Compact (Required)
- Basic Life Support (Required)
- BLS – Instructor (Required)
- BLS – Provisional (Required)
