RN - Extended Recovery Unit

Role:

The RN Clinical Nurse provides high-quality, safe, patient-centered care as part of an interdisciplinary team, ensuring individualized treatment and optimal outcomes.

• Performs the nursing process—assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation—using evidence-based practices and critical thinking.
• Partners with patients and families through effective communication and relationship-based care, respecting cultural diversity and patient goals.
• Coordinates safe, quality care delivery, promotes teamwork, documentation, and fosters an inclusive clinical environment.
• Supports performance improvement initiatives, research, and evidence-based practice to enhance care quality.
• Serves as a preceptor or mentor, participates in protocol development, and contributes to a healthy work environment.
• Ensures compliance with organizational policies, legal, regulatory, and accreditation standards.

• Associates or Bachelor's degree in Nursing; licensure as an RN (single-state or multi-state compact).
• Certifications in BLS, ACLS (required upon hire).
• Less than 1 year of direct patient care experience preferred.
