Aircraft Quality Supervisor – AS9100, RCA Leader, x

Description

This is a 1st shift Quality Supervision position supporting Marietta Fabrication F35 VT/HT Sustainment and Shipping/Receiving Quality Department. You will supervise core quality inspection personnel, be responsible for product quality, continuous assessment of manufacturing processes, process improvement, and inspector and quality staff performance. You will help identify preventive actions that assess performance and drive actions to control sources of variation within product quality, cost, and schedule targets.

Strong communication skills are required to support collaboration with various functions, leaders, and engineering disciplines.

• Prior fabrication/aircraft Quality Assurance experience
• Experience and knowledge of AS9100
• Experience reading and interpreting technical drawings
• Professional experience with quality processes in aircraft assembly/fabrication, safety, training, FOD & tool control procedures

• Experience interacting with DCMA Customers
• Supervision experience with hourly workforce
• RCA/Corrective Action process improvement experience
• Ability to effectively interact with internal and external customers and government agencies
• Preferred 1 year previous leadership experience in a professional environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills for collaboration
• Effective oral and written communication abilities
• Technical and business acumen

This position requires a government security clearance and you must be a U.S. citizen. Clearance level needed:
Secret.

Lockheed Martin supports flexible alternate work schedules. Standard 40 hours over a five day work week, condensed schedules are optional. Shift: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week.
