Assistant Manager

Job Summary

As an Assistant Manager, you are a key member of the leadership team responsible for supporting a profitable business by creating genuine connections that foster customer loyalty, love of the brand, and strong community engagement. You’ll provide in‑the‑moment feedback and coaching to help each team member perform at their highest potential, partner with leadership to drive the business forward, and seamlessly step in on tasks as needed.

Hourly Range: $17.75 - $22.30

• Serve as a role model for creating personalized customer connections that drive loyalty and excitement for the brand.
• Observe associate performance on the selling floor and assist to make a connection or sale when necessary.
• Lead fit sessions that enhance product knowledge and fuel a style obsession.
• Help associates improve each customer interaction by sharing specific actions to improve outcomes.
• Ensure the team stays on track to meet goals and exceed customer expectations.
• Own the selling floor, ensuring the right people are in the right place at the right time.
• Be ready to step in for another manager as needed.
• Plan and execute local events that tie to the community and drive incremental traffic and sales.
• Act in a manner that aligns with company values.

• Have a great fashion aesthetic and stay updated on industry and community trends.
• Track record of setting and achieving goals.
• Enthusiastic about change, able to shift gears quickly and rally the team behind new strategies and projects.
• Make smart decisions by actively listening, understanding data, and looking beyond the obvious.
• High school diploma or equivalent (education and experience).
• Have 2 or more years of experience in a similar scope; specialty retail preferred.
• Communicate effectively and confidently.
• Process information and operate store systems accurately.
• Available during busy times, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Skillful with technology and apps; familiar with industry‑related blogs and feeds.
• Capable of bending, reaching, stretching for product and lifting, carrying, moving at least 40 pounds (18 kilos).
• Regularly move around all store areas and remain accessible to customers.
