Role Description The Assistant Manager role at Windsor Fashions in Marietta, GA is an on-site position responsible for supporting the Store Manager in daily operations and team leadership. This role includes overseeing sales floor activities, coaching and guiding team members, ensuring visual merchandising standards are maintained, and delivering a high level of customer service. The Assistant Manager helps manage opening and closing procedures, monitors store performance against sales goals, and supports inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and loss prevention.
The role also involves scheduling, training new team members, and fostering a positive, inclusive work environment that aligns with Windsor’s brand and values.
Qualifications
- Retail operations and leadership skills, including prior experience in a supervisory or key holder role in a fashion or retail setting.
- Customer service and sales skills, with the ability to engage customers, recommend products, and drive store performance.
- Visual merchandising and store presentation skills to maintain brand standards and create an inviting shopping environment.
- Organizational and time management skills to handle scheduling, task prioritization, and daily operational responsibilities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to train, motivate, and support a diverse team.
- Basic math and point-of-sale (POS) system skills for handling transactions, cash management, and sales reporting.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as required by retail operations.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in business, retail management, or a related field is a plus.
- Passion for fashion and styling, with an interest in helping customers feel confident and beautiful.
