Business Development, B2B Sales, Sales Representative, Sales Development Rep/SDR
Your Next Sales Role Shouldn t Feel Like a Lateral Move.
You ve been grinding in sales for a couple of years. You know how to pick up the phone, build a pipeline, and close. But you re ready for more — more ownership, more earning potential, and a seat at the table where your work actually moves the needle.
This is that role.
We re partnering with a growing B2B services company in the Atlanta market to find their next Account Manager/Account Executive. This is a true hunter position — you ll own the full sales cycle from first outreach to signed agreement, targeting small-to-mid-market clients in industries that need what this company delivers. You won t be handed a book of business. You ll build one.
WHATYOU LL ACTUALLY BE DOING
- Prospecting and closing new clients. Cold calls, warm introductions, networking events, Linked In, whatever it takes. You re expected to generate a minimum of 10 new opportunities per month.
- Growing existing accounts. This isn t just about landing clients — it s about keeping them, expanding the relationship, and becoming the person they call first.
- Getting in the room. Industry events, professional associations, lunches, referral partners — you ll represent this company where it matters and build relationships that turn into revenue.
- Running a tight pipeline. CRM discipline is non-negotiable. You ll manage leads, track activity, prepare proposals and proformas, and keep your numbers clean. Pipeline target: $500K+ annually.
- Collaborating with ops and leadership. You sell it, they deliver it. You ll work hand-in-hand with senior management to scope solutions, build pricing, and make sure clients get exactly what they were promised.
You have 2+ years in B2B sales and you ve been the one picking up the phone, not waiting for inbound leads to land in your lap. You re comfortable talking to business owners and executives. You know how to run a consultative sales process, not just pitch and pray.
You re organized, competitive, and coachable.
Beyond that:
- Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience that proves you can figure things out
- You ve sold services or solutions (not just products) to SMB clients
- CRM fluency:
Hub Spot, Salesforce, whatever — you use it, you don t fight it - Strong written and verbal communication — proposals, presentations, negotiations
- Microsoft Office proficiency (yes, still matters)
- You can work independently without someone looking over your shoulder
- Existing relationships in the Atlanta business community
- Involvement in professional organizations
- Full ownership of your sales territory and client relationships
- Competitive comp with real earning potential tied to your performance
- Senior leadership that supports your deals — not micromanages them
- Room to grow as the business grows
- Entrepreneurial environment where your hustle directly impacts your income
