Leading safety manufacturer of high visibility garments is looking for a full‑time Inside Sales Representative. The role generates leads, advances the sales process, closes new business, and helps achieve opportunity‑based sales quotas.
Position Information- Job Status:
Full Time (40 Hours a Week) Paid Bi-Weekly - Shift: 9:00am – 5:30pm
- Reports To:
Director of Sales
- Appropriately communicate brand identity and corporate position.
- Penetrate all targeted accounts and radiate sales from within client base.
- Cold‑call prospects that are generated by providing internal and external sources of leads.
- Adhere to the company’s Policies and Procedures.
- Handle inbound, unsolicited calls and convert those into sales.
- Answer incoming calls, and make outbound follow‑up calls to existing clients via telephone and email. Utilize knowledge and data to cross‑sell and up‑sell.
- Calls on and creates relationships with potential customers, or leads, to cultivate new business.
- Provide a comprehensive and positive experience for prospective customers. Emphasize products, service features, and benefits. Quote prices, discuss credit terms, and prepare sales order forms and/or reports.
- Enter new customer data and update changes to existing accounts in the corporate database, maintain and expand the company’s database of prospects.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Travel to and participate in trade shows 1‑2 times per year.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Position reports to the Director of Sales and will work closely with National Account Managers.
- Two (2) years minimum of previous sales experience a must.
- Uniform apparel/garment industry experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of CRM and ERP platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to convert prospects, close deals, and achieve sales quotas.
- Solid experience in opportunity qualification, pre‑call planning and execution, call control, account development, and time management.
- Strong knowledge of sales principles, methods, practices, and techniques.
- High level of integrity and work ethic. Accepts responsibility for actions and treats others with consideration and respect.
- Excellent written, verbal communication, and listening skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Regularly required to use hands to type, key, handle, feel or operate office machinery, objects or controls and reach with hands and arms.
- Frequently required to sit for extended periods of time; often upwards of 50% of the day.
- Frequently required to walk, balance, stoop, kneel, squat, climb stairs or bend; often upwards of 50% of the day.
- Regularly performs duties in the office, often at a desk or on various other office equipment.
- Noise level in the work environment is typically moderate.
- Adhere to company safety policies and procedures.
- Immediately report any unsafe conditions or other safety‑related issues to a member of the management team.
- Do not allow an employee to operate any type of equipment if they have not been officially trained.
