Field-based sales professional responsible for driving product adoption and business growth within long-term care (LTC) settings for Acadia Pharmaceuticals' neurological and rare disease therapies.
Responsibilities- develop and maintain relationships with prescribers, pharmacists, and LTC facility staff
- deliver tailored clinical and reimbursement education
- develop strategic territory plans
- address customer inquiries
- collaborate with cross-functional teams for business needs
- represent Acadia at industry events
- mentor junior staff
- ensure compliance with regulations
- Bachelor's degree (life sciences preferred)
- 1-2 years healthcare/pharmaceutical sales experience for Sales Specialist
- 8+ years for Senior Specialist
- 12+ years for Executive Specialist
- strong knowledge of neuroscience, LTC market dynamics, payer systems
- proficiency in MS Office and virtual platforms
- valid driver’s license and willingness to travel up to 80%
focus on neuroscience, complex healthcare sales, and LTC market; role involves significant travel and remote engagement.
Work setupfield-based; territory within Georgia, with residence proximity required.
