Security Guard Unarmed Patrol in Marietta, GA — you will serve and safeguard clients in various industries and join a team that values flexibility, opportunity, and customer service. As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support access activities, and provide outstanding customer service and communication while remaining visible to deter security-related incidents and uphold teamwork and integrity.

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

Job Schedule: Fri 11:00 PM ? 07:00 AM;
Sat 11:00 PM ? 07:00 AM

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate for a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, access points, and perimeter locations, noting and reporting potential hazards, unauthorized activity, and/or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization as required, and help deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
• Support facility operations by communicating with site personnel during routine activities, shift changes, and/or emergency situations while following Allied Universal and site guidelines.

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
