The Georgia Department of Corrections is seeking a Corrections Officer at Macon State Prison to maintain custody and security of inmates, enforce institutional policies, monitor and secure facilities, escort offenders, and respond to emergencies.
Starting salary is $50,386 per year with increases after 6 months and a promotion and another increase at the 12-month mark, along with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401K/457 plan, paid holidays, and on-the-job training.
