Travel: 95% Domestic Travel Required

Power Generation & Distribution Services (PGDS) is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Technician III to lead and perform advanced industrial electrical testing and substation maintenance projects nationwide.

This role requires strong troubleshooting ability, independent work execution, and the ability to support complex power system testing and commissioning activities.

• Perform and lead circuit breaker testing and inspections (LV/MV)
• Conduct insulation resistance, grounding, and cable testing
• Perform secondary injection testing and protective relay verification
• Troubleshoot protective relays and power distribution systems
• Support generator startup, synchronization, and commissioning
• Assist with VFD and PLC-related field verification tasks
• Complete detailed field documentation and contribute to final test reports

• 4–7 years electrical, industrial, or field service experience
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and three-line diagrams
• Experience working in substation or industrial power environments
• Demonstrated troubleshooting ability with minimal supervision
• Comfortable using laptops, test equipment software, relay interfaces, and digital reporting tools
• Willing and able to travel 95% domestically
