, Monday – Friday, various shifts.

Earn up to $38.85 per hour and receive 1 week of vacation after 90 days of employment. An excellent benefits package is also available, including access to our employee resorts.

R+L Carriers has an immediate opportunity for Trailer Mechanics at our Marietta, GA Service Center. As a Trailer Mechanic, your responsibilities will include the diagnostic process, repair work, and overall maintenance of our trailers.

• Diagnose and repair trailers.
• Perform preventive maintenance.
• Ensure all work meets manufacturer’s specifications and regulatory requirements.

• Experience performing safety inspections and preparing safety documents required by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), company, and other regulations.
• Ability to interpret technical manuals.
• Experience repairing or replacing defective parts, components, or systems.
• Experience testing equipment for proper performance.
• Experience with trailer PMs and repairs.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
• Must own your own tools.
• Dependable and prepared to work in various climate situations.

• Experience using the Cetaris Maintenance Work Order System.
• Welding skills.
• Experience driving yard tractors/trailers.
• Previous experience with Class 8 commercial vehicles.
• Sheet metal and composite panel repair.
