Coolray Heating&Air is seeking an experienced Service Plumber to join our Skilled Labor team in the Construction industry. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and install residential and light commercial plumbing systems, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities include troubleshooting leaks, repairing fixtures, maintaining water heaters, and performing routine system inspections. Responsibilities
- Respond to scheduled and emergency residential and light commercial plumbing service calls
- Diagnose plumbing issues, identify root causes, and recommend repair or replacement options
- Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, drains, fixtures, and water heaters
- Ensure all work complies with local and state plumbing codes and company safety standards
- Communicate clearly with customers about findings, options, pricing, and timelines
- Complete accurate service tickets, including parts used, labor performed, and recommendations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked service vehicle
- Collaborate with dispatchers and supervisors to optimize daily schedules and on-time arrival
- Participate in ongoing technical and safety training to stay current on plumbing best practices
- Represent Coolray Heating&Air professionally, supporting a customer-focused, high-quality service culture
Required Skills
- Plumbing system diagnosis and repair
- Installation of fixtures, piping, and water heaters
- Reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
- Knowledge of local and state plumbing codes
- Use of plumbing hand and power tools
- Soldering, brazing, and pipe fitting
- Drain cleaning and clog removal
- Leak detection and repair
- Water heater troubleshooting and replacement
- Backflow prevention basics
