The Delivery Driver's primary responsibility is to ensure the efficient and timely delivery of periodicals and related products in the Atlanta region while maintaining client satisfaction and adherence to safety regulations.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
* Perform daily pre-trip safety inspections on all equipment.
* Verify and complete the required documentation and reports.
* Comply with hazardous material regulations and procedures.
* Follow dispatch instructions and communicate as required, including but not limited to:
Delays, arrivals and equipment problems
* Demonstrate internal and external customer service.
* Oversee Airport Runner (AR) to assure proper delivery
* Comply with all applicable laws, safety standards, as well as company policies and procedures
* Loading and unloading of vehicle and confirming proper counts
Other Functions
* Other delivery related tasks as assigned- may need to service gate areas with delivery
* Extensive knowledge of geography and demographics of assigned area
