Overview
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Employee to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock and materials, picking and filling orders from stock, packing and shipping orders, or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
Responsibilities- Receive, move and process incoming stock, materials and shipments
- Pick and fill orders from stock, pack and ship orders
- Organize and retrieve stock in the warehouse
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Load and unload trucks, move and stack materials
- Keep production lines supplied with empty containers and packaging materials as needed
- Use common warehouse management software
- Operate Forklifts and/or Pallet Jacks. Will provide complete training for operation of Forklifts and/or Pallet Jacks if necessary. Perform proper forklift inspections and follow forklift operating guidelines and procedures
- Shrink wrap and bag all pallets – pallets will be shrink-wrapped and covered with pallet covers to prevent any potential water damage prior to being placed in their final storage
- Tape boxes – all boxes need to be secured with security tape to prevent tampering with contents
- Inventory management – inputting boxes of dealership files into tracking system
- Boxing up the files in preparation to be transferred out to the floor for prep and scan
- Clean warehouse - maintain overall cleanliness and ensure boxes are in their place, floor is clean, and all garbage is picked up
- Proven working experience as a Warehouse Employee
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Ability to lift heavy objects
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license and the company may run an MVR (Motor Vehicle Record) which may be needed to validate a good driving record
- Maintaining effective working relationships with employees
- Demonstrate knowledge of practices and procedures such as spelling, and commercial arithmetic
- To keep records, communicate effectively, both orally and in writing

- Forklift and warehouse or similar environment: at least 1 year
