Job Description
Essential Functions (Job Duties and Responsibilities)- Meets warehouse financial standards by monitoring operational best practices and maintaining efficiency.
- Meets safety goals by ensuring 100% compliance with the company Safety Program.
- Delivers supplies and equipment to departments by receiving and transferring items.
- Maintains storage area by organizing floor space, adhering to storage design principles, and recommending improvements.
- Maintains inventory by conducting monthly physical counts, reconciling variances, and inputting data.
- Secures warehouse by turning alarms on, testing systems, and ensuring proper security protocols.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and reading technical publications.
- Accomplishes warehouse and organization mission by completing related results as needed.
- Accomplishes warehouse human resource objectives by selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counselling, disciplining employees, communicating job expectations, planning, monitoring, and appraising job contributions, recommending compensation actions, and adhering to policies and procedures.
- Meets warehouse operational standards by contributing warehouse information to strategic plans and reviews, implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards, resolving problems, and identifying operational improvements.
- Moves inventory by scheduling materials to be moved to and from the warehouse and coordinating inventory transfers with related departments.
- Ensures equipment operates by enforcing operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, enforcing preventive maintenance, and requesting repairs.
- Directly responsible for leading and managing a crew of 5–6 employees.
Education and Experience
- 4+ years as a Supervisor in a warehouse or distribution environment.
- Proficient with all MS Office programs.
- Proficiency with WMS (Warehouse Management Systems).
- Experience analyzing data and generating reports.
- Must be able to obtain and sustain all required badging needed to work on assigned projects.
- Travel: 80–90% travel is required.
- Teamwork and collaboration abilities.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Adaptability and flexibility in dynamic situations.

- Ability to work independently.

Full‑time position, Monday through Friday. Weekend and holiday work may vary depending on business needs.
Supervisory ResponsibilitySupervises warehouse employees.
Work Environment and Physical DemandsRegularly required to talk and hear. Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, and operating warehouse equipment. The environment is typical of a warehouse setting.
Compensation and BenefitsFull‑time, non‑exempt position eligible to receive a yearly salary ranging from $85,500 to $95,000 and participation in an annual performance bonus program.
