Behavioral Health Risk Manager – Washington County, OH
The Risk Manager (RM) provides intensive, after-hours, and weekend support to youth and families to help prevent placement disruptions and promote family stability. Developed in response to the Federal Family First Prevention Services Act, this program focuses on keeping youth safely connected to their families through coordinated systems of care across Southeast and Central Ohio. This is an ISBH internal designation.
Compensation
: $5,000 in addition to your annual salary. $30 per hour for every hour billed under Risk Management.
- Must be a current ISBH employee.
- Must be in good performance standing.
- Works evening and weekend hours to manage risks related to behavioral conditions.
- Performs risk management activities on a planned basis, but also as risks arise.
- Remains within geographic range to ensure 60‑minute risk response time.
- Facilitates life domain planning for referred clients receiving risk management support.
- Services as a local on‑call manager 26 weeks per year.
- Operates in collaboration with the location's community behavioral health teams.
- Experience in Youth and Family care.
- Ability to bill through Care Logic.
- Must be available to work after 5:00 pm EST on weekends and holidays every other week.
- Be available by phone for scheduled and unscheduled calls.
- Experience with multi‑need individuals and families.
- Broad knowledge of community service systems.
- Licensed and able to operate a motor vehicle with an appropriate level of insurance coverage.
- Able to effectively communicate through verbal/written expression.
