Job Description

You will be the RF Engineer – Level 2 for the RF Engineering Team which is responsible for delivering robust radio frequency solutions across the aircraft program lifecycle.

What You Will Be Doing

As the RF Engineer – Level 2 you will be responsible for applying RF expertise to support system design, development, integration, production, and sustainment. You will work closely with cross‑functional engineers to ensure communication subsystems meet performance, reliability, and schedule objectives.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Perform RF engineering analyses, including antenna performance, link budgets, and interference mitigation.
  • Support the design, test, and integration of radios, antennas, and related hardware.
  • Collaborate with system and software teams to translate requirements into RF‑specific solutions.
  • Generate technical documentation and reports for design reviews and certification.
  • Participate in troubleshooting and sustainment activities for fielded aircraft.

Work Schedule Information

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees.
