- Provide leadership for process engineering across seven coil coating lines.
- Oversee multiple production lines and drive measurable improvements in safety, quality, reliability, and overall performance.
- Develop a thorough understanding of BCP coating line processes and apply that knowledge to identify improvement opportunities.
- Work closely with the Director of Engineering and technical experts to benchmark best practices and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
- Spend significant time on plant floors driving real-time problem solving and supporting troubleshooting efforts.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related discipline)
- Minimum of 10 years in a heavy manufacturing industrial environment within a plant or maintenance capacity
- 3+ years people leading within engineering or technical teams
- Direct experience in coil coating or paint line operations
- Proven experience working in continuous processing environments (coating, metals, or similar high-speed lines)
- Strong background in commissioning, troubleshooting, and production support.
- Strong experience with Rockwell Automation platforms, including Control Logix and Compact Logix PLCs, Studio 5000, Power Flex AC/DC drives
Demonstrates expertise in process engineering and leadership within heavy manufacturing environments, focusing on coil coating operations and continuous improvement initiatives. Proficient in troubleshooting, commissioning, and production support, with a strong command of Rockwell Automation technologies.
