Join Our Team at Caron Scientific! Are you skilled in assembly and looking for a hands‑on role in a growing company? At Caron Scientific, we’re seeking dedicated Production Assemblers to help build crucial laboratory equipment that make a difference. You’ll be performing a variety of assembly operations on product components and sub‑assemblies, ensuring the highest quality within set time frames while contributing to continuous improvement on the production floor.
Responsibilities- Assemble parts and components to produce finished products according to company’s specifications
- Perform quality checks on assembled products to ensure they meet the required specifications
- Use power and hand tools to perform assembly tasks
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all company protocols and safety procedures
- Read and interpret technical documents, blueprints and product manuals to understand assembly instructions
- Troubleshoot assembly issues and report any major defects or issues to the supervisor
- Monitor and replenish inventory of necessary assembly materials and parts
- Test assembled products to ensure functionality and performance
- Participate in team meetings and trainings to enhance skills and maintain knowledge of company procedures and products
- 2+ years experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Experience working in a fast‑paced environment and ability to recognize problems, collaborate internally, and take ownership to drive positive change
- Self‑starter and commitment to being a strong team player who is also comfortable with ambiguity
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to stay organized and prioritize workload
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite of products
- Attention to details, especially with documentation
- Physically able to lift and move product weighing 50lbs+
