Position Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing direct resident care, administering medications and treatments, monitoring resident conditions, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to ensure the highest quality of care.

Essential LPN Responsibilities
  • Provide skilled nursing care in accordance with physician orders and facility policies.
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely.
  • Monitor residents for changes in condition and communicate concerns appropriately.
  • Complete timely and accurate documentation.
  • Develop and update resident care plans.
  • Supervise and support nursing assistants and other care staff.
  • Promote resident dignity, independence, and quality of life.
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations.
  • Participate in admissions, transfers, and discharge processes.
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies and resident needs.
Qualifications for LPN
  • Current LPN license in good standing.
  • CPR certification preferred.
  • Long‑term care experience preferred but not required.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and critical‑thinking skills.
  • Commitment to providing compassionate, resident‑centered care.
