Job Summary
The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) coordinates and provides nursing care for residents and provides supervision and guidance to clinical staff members.
Compensation & Benefits- Starting Base Wage: $33.00 – $38.00 per hour (based on experience and shift)
- Weekend Warrior Program:
Additional $4.00 per hour - Sign‑On Bonus: $7,500 for new hires (one‑year payout, limited time availability)

- Education:
Graduate of an accredited LPN/LNV nursing program - Licenses/Certification:
Valid LPN/LVN license in the state of employment, valid CPR certification - Experience:
One year of nursing experience preferred
- Documents the resident’s condition and nursing needs.
- Accurately and promptly implements physicians’ orders.
- Assigns nursing care to team members per resident needs and staff capabilities.
- Supervises, directs, and evaluates junior staff members and CNAs.
- Administers medications and performs treatments, documenting as required by Company and regulation.
- Participates in orientation and in‑service training for personnel.
- Ensures supplies are utilized economically and equipment is clean and maintained.
- Reports and records pertinent observations and reactions regarding residents.
- Coordinates nursing care when residents are scheduled for therapy or procedures by other departments.
- Interviews applicants and recommends hires; participates in counseling, disciplinary action, and termination to extent permitted by state practice act.
- Supervises nursing unit, including scheduling and directing staff to extent permitted by state practice act.
- Ensures inventory and supplies are maintained and communicates need for housekeeping, maintenance, or dietary assistance.
- Performs other tasks as assigned.
- Skilled in directing and motivating the workforce.
- Ability to work cooperatively as a member of a team.
- Effective communication with residents, families, and all organization levels.
- Decisive action in emergency situations.
- Knowledge of training techniques for clinical staff.
- Maintain confidentiality.
