Interventional Radiology Registered Nurse (RN) | Marietta, Ohio

Exciting contract opportunity for a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in Interventional Radiology (IR). This position offers a dynamic, patient-focused role at a reputable healthcare facility. The assignment spans 13 weeks and requires professionals who thrive in a fast-paced environment, delivering exceptional pre- and post-procedural care.

• Variable 8-hour shifts or 4x10-hour shifts
• Shifts may start at 7 a.m. or 8 a.m., depending on department needs
• On-call every 34 days (Monday Friday) and every 3rd to 4th weekend
• 40 hours per week guaranteed

• Current RN license, BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of previous experience in Interventional Radiology or Cath Lab
• Demonstrated experience in both pre- and post-op care, sedation, charting procedures, and monitoring patient vitals
• Strong team ethic, exceptional organizational skills, and commitment to patient-centered care
• Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
• Ability to perform hourly rounding and maintain high customer satisfaction
• Must not be a former employee or a local resident within 50 miles of the facility

• 23+ years in IR/Cath Lab roles
• Background working in hospitals with 200+ beds
• Familiarity with Meditech EMR systems
• Flexibility to float between IR and Cath Lab based on department needs

• Provide patient care before and after interventional radiology procedures
• Chart procedures accurately and promptly
• Monitor and document vital signs
• Administer sedation and assist with patient care throughout procedures
• Engage in hourly rounding and ensure every assigned patient receives attentive care
