Customer Service Representative

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous customer service in person, by telephone, and through email.
• Answer customer questions regarding water and wastewater utility services.
• Process utility payments and maintain accurate customer account records.
• Balance daily cash receipts and process deposits.
• Process mail and perform general administrative support duties.
• Assist with utility billing.
• Functions and Payment Arrangements:
  Perform additional duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least three (3) years of general office experience involving significant public contact.
• At least one (1) year of customer service experience.
• Experience handling cash and balancing daily receipts.
• Strong computer skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Candidate must successfully complete a background check and drug screening.
