Project ManagerJob Summary
Manages large complex projects with limited oversight. Track and elevate issues to closure. Lead multiple projects simultaneously. Will mentor and support Project Coordinators and will lead and monitor cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are achieved.
Responsibilities/Duties Cross-Departmental Coordination:- Serve as the primary liaison between Engineering, Operations, Value-Add Outsourcing, Procurement, and Quality.
- Facilitate effective communication, ensuring all departments are aligned on objectives, timelines, and requirements.
- Track and report progress on programs and initiatives related to the overall project management process.
- Works with the engineering teams to ensure engineering designs are manufacturable and aligned with supplier capabilities and procurement strategies.
- Monitor all project deliverables and ensure they are meeting the customers and organizations objectives
- Collaborate with Procurement and Value-Add Outsourcing teams to identify, onboard, and manage third-party service providers for machining, finishing, or other post-casting operations.
- Ensure outsourced operations align with quality, cost, and delivery expectations.
- Coordinate with engineering teams during design and development to ensure manufacturability, cost, and sourcing objectives are achieved.
- Monitor and report that design for manufacturability (DFM) and value engineering efforts are completed.
- Work closely with procurement teams to ensure timely sourcing of materials and services aligning with project timing.
- Ensure procurement teams strategy aligns with financial initiatives of the project
- Identified opportunities for process improvements that enhance efficiency and cross-functional collaboration.
- Track and Support continuous improvement initiatives related to casting operations and post-processing workflows
Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, Manufacturing) or minimum 4 years related work experience.
