• General Information:
  • MRI Suites: 1
  • Census? Average patients/day? 18 in 2 shifts
  • Minimum Years of Experience? 2 years of experience
  • Will you accept a first-time traveler? No
• Patient Types/Common Diagnoses:
  • Will mostly see adults with some peds with minor sports injuries. No small children
  • Outpatient, inpatient, ER, ICU/vented patients, sedation, whole body, etc.
• Required Licensure & Certifications:
  • BLS, AART-M
• Skills required:
  • Mostly general MRI scans. No cardiac or functional MRI. No special procedures
  • IV start skills
• Support within the Department:
  • Transporter – yes, by Imaging Assistant or second MRI Tech
  • Lead Tech
  • 1-2 with MRI Imaging Assistant
  • Phlebotomy
  • RT
  • Hospitalist
  • Supervisor
• Technology/Equipment:
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Unit specific equipment:
    Client MRI equipment – experience preferred
• Floating:
  • None
• Orientation (facility and unit):
  • NEO
  • 2 shifts in the department
• Scheduling:
  • Weekend rotation:
    Could work 1 weekend in 5 weeks, but might be none.
  • On call? If so, what is that schedule? No call
  • Holiday Expectations: 50% of holidays in a contract or less
