The Lead is responsible for assuring the assigned area is maintained and the daily workload is completed by coordinating, assisting with, and monitoring the work of assigned staff, mentoring employees, and overseeing quality assurance activities. This person ensures work is completed in accordance with department and facility policies, procedures, and infection control guidelines.
Job Responsibilities- General cleaning (e.g., dusting, wiping, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping)
- Detail cleaning (e.g., corners and edges, door jambs and hard-to-reach surfaces)
- Positively interact with each employee in the assigned area on a regular basis
- Encourage, redirect, correct, and document employee performance as appropriate
- Aid co‑workers as appropriate to meet customer demands and timelines; coordinate cleaning of restricted access areas to perform necessary cleaning
- Train employees in specialized areas and periodic assignments and document training
- Skills and Abilities
- Must be 18 years or older and have a valid driver's license and clean MVR
- Must have reliable transportation
- Ability to work efficiently and effectively
- Comfortable working in a dynamic environment
- Possesses good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong detail orientation
- Customer‑oriented and friendly
- Education and Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Some experience with performing administrative tasks is required
- Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for long periods
- Repeat the same movements
- Frequent bending and twisting
- Lift, push, and pull 50 lbs
- Work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Full Time – All shifts
- 3 pm – 11 pm
- Monday – Friday
- $17 / hr
