The City is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Recreation Center. This position is responsible for the upkeep, repair, and general maintenance of city buildings and recreation facilities, and public spaces. As a Maintenance Technician you may work on pool and filtration systems, heating, ventilation and cooling (HVAC), and mechanical issues of ice refrigeration systems.
Along with other duties such as custodial, assisting in preparing areas for rentals and events, and other duties assigned at the Recreation Center. The typical work schedule is 40 hours a week. Work schedule will include nights and weekends as necessary to meet the needs of our facilities, patrons and to complete job responsibilities. Salary: The 2025 hourly pay for this position is $22.67 / hour. This position is eligible for the annual COLA pending City Council approval.
Qualifications
:
High School diploma/equivalent and at least five years of experience in the commercial building maintenance field. Requires an active WI Aquatic Facility Operator Certification or a WI Pool & Spa Operator Certification within six months of hire; and must possess and maintain a WI acceptable driver’s license.
Residency
:
Applicant is required to within six months of hire, establish residency within the State of Wisconsin.
