CNC Machine Operator
HiFyve is hiring an experienced CNC Machine Operator!
Starting Pay: $20 - $26+/hr (depending on experience)
Shift: 2nd shift (M-F) & Weekend Warrior Day & Nights (Fri/Sat/Sun)
Location:
Marinette County, WI
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate DMG Mori and other CNC machining equipment
- Perform machine setups, offsets, adjustments, and tool changes throughout the shift
- Monitor machine performance and ensure production meets quality and efficiency standards
- Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections to ensure compliance with specifications
- Utilize gauges, measuring tools, and blueprints to verify dimensional accuracy
- Read and follow work instructions, control plans, and technical drawings
- Perform basic preventative maintenance, machine cleaning, and daily equipment care
- Complete production records, inspection documentation, and required paperwork accurately
- Communicate production issues and shift updates with operators, supervisors, and maintenance teams
- Assist with troubleshooting machining or quality concerns as needed
- Support material handling activities and maintain forklift certification
- Follow all company safety procedures and maintain housekeeping standards
- Assist other operators and support overall production goals as needed
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Equivalent CNC or manufacturing experience considered
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Experience operating CNC machining equipment required
- Experience with DMG Mori machines strongly preferred
- Experience with various CNC lathes, mills, or machining centers preferred
- Ability to read blueprints, work instructions, and technical drawings
- Experience using precision measuring equipment and hand gauges
- Basic math skills required; metric system experience preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
- Ability to perform machine setups, tool changes, and minor adjustments
- Forklift experience or willingness to obtain certification required
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented manufacturing environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and work overtime as needed
