Newport News, VA – One-year contract for a commercial/naval Ship fitter with a daily per diem of $140. Four years of shipfitting experience required; skilled in multi-pass tack welding, oxy-fuel torches, and reading complex drawings.
Responsibilities include fabricating and assembling hull components, interpreting work packages and drawings, and maintaining quality and safety in a demanding shipyard environment. Potential extension or conversion to full-time may be available.
