Opportunity:

RN - Med Surg

Job Details:

• Work in medical/surgical unit caring for basic medical/surgical patients

• Patient ratios: 1:4-5 during day shifts and 1:5-6 during night shifts based on acuity

• 2 years of nursing experience required

• First-time travelers welcome

• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH

• Must be telemetry competent

• Work with EPIC charting system, Alaris equipment, and Pyxis medication dispensing

• Minimum of one orientation shift to learn unit flow

• Any color scrubs permitted

• Support includes patient-free charge nurse, LPN support, centralized telemetry monitoring, 24/7 hospitalist and respiratory therapy services, and phlebotomy assistance for peripheral blood draws

Facility:

This healthcare facility is a 104-bed Level III Trauma Center that provides comprehensive medical services to the community. The medical/surgical unit features 47 beds and maintains adequate PPE supplies for staff safety. The facility utilizes modern technology and equipment to support patient care and operates with strong support systems including 24/7 specialist coverage and centralized monitoring services.
