The Blast Foreman is responsible for all blast related operations for a designated job or jobs.

• Perform physical and organizational duties under leadership of Superintendent/Project manager
• Attend inspections of blast work
• Inspect preparation of blasted areas and have blasters correct any areas that don't meet standards
• Organize, supervise, lead and train employees to complete projects within established guidelines and timeframe
• Direct and assist in setup and removal of blasting equipment
• Review and submit timesheets for assigned crew
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Directing various number of employees in a productive and safe manner
• Training, planning, assigning and directing work
• Ordering grit, fuel, supplies and other materials for blasting operations
• Conduct Performance evaluations, providing recommendations for promotion and salary adjustments
