Traveling Welder (FOND DU LAC, WI - $32/hr + $140/day per diem)
Job Description
This Traveling Welder role offers the opportunity to work independently on a wide range of custom and structural welding projects. You will interpret blueprints and weld symbols, fabricate and fit components, and perform primarily MIG and flux core welding on steel ranging from 1/4" to several inches thick. The work is varied, from large structural jobs to one-off parts, and requires strong technical skill, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to different welding positions and project requirements.
Wage: $32/hr + $140/day for 7 days a week per diem!!!
Hours:
1st & 2nd Shifts available - 50+ hour weeks!
Responsibilities
- Perform custom and structural welding on a variety of projects, including large structural work and one-off parts
- Utilize MIG and flux core welding techniques, primarily on steel from 1/4" to several inches thick
- Work from blueprints and weld symbols to weld and fit custom parts
- Grind and inspect welds on a daily basis
- Use overhead cranes and forklifts to move materials
- Obtain certifications paid for from the company
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of welding experience utilizing MIG or FCAW processes preferred
- Ability to work from blueprints and fit parts highly preferred
- 2+ years of professional welding experience required
- Previous structural welding experience highly preferred

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $32.00/hr individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
