There will be a minimum of 3 weeks of training (possibly longer) that will take place in Green Bay; mileage will be reimbursed
JOB SUMMARYProvides support, instruction, and assistance to individuals as they work to increase their employment skills, social skills, explore their communities, develop life skills, and contribute to/be involved in their communities in meaningful ways.
JOB DUTIES- Experience with people with disabilities or another human service group preferred.
- Broad knowledge of a variety of services available to persons with disabilities.
- Able to communicate orally or in writing effectively.
- Problem solving skills.
- Effective use of a computer for documentation-emails, reports, spreadsheets, etc.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and crawling. The employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers, handle or feel objects, and reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 35 pounds.
