Audit Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Audit Senior or Audit Manager to join our dynamic team. This position is critical for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our clients' financial statements. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in public accounting and a strong understanding of the audit process, particularly in non-profit, manufacturing, employee benefits, and construction sectors. Key responsibilities include leading audit engagements from planning through completion for a diverse portfolio of clients, reviewing and evaluating clients' financial statements and internal controls, managing and mentoring junior staff and providing training and support as needed, communicating audit findings and recommendations to clients in a clear and concise manner, ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations throughout the auditing process, building and maintaining strong client relationships, identifying opportunities for additional services, and staying updated on industry trends and changes in regulations that may impact clients.
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in accounting or related field, CPA certification is required, minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting, with a focus on audit, strong knowledge of accounting principles and auditing standards, experience working with non-profit organizations, manufacturing, employee benefits, and construction sectors is preferred, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
