Human Resources Representative

Job Summary

Hire Level is looking for an Accounting & Human Resource Rep located in Marion, IL. The role is full‑time Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Compensation is $16 per hour with benefits including 401(k), dental and health insurance, and paid time off.

• Process vendor invoices promptly and accurately.
• Verify invoice approvals and coding before processing.
• Prepare and process weekly check runs, ACH payments, and wire transfers.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Respond to vendor inquiries regarding payments and account status.
• Maintain organized electronic and paper accounts payable files.
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are current and avoid late fees.
• Enter and maintain vendor records in the accounting system.
• Assist with credit card reconciliations and expense reporting.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and employee information.
• Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or GED required; associate’s degree in Accounting, Business, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounts payable or related accounting work.
• Knowledge of accounting software such as Quick Books.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, and time‑management skills.
• Excellent communication skills with employees, vendors, and management.
• Must meet requirements for criminal background clearance and drug‑testing policies.
